Seasons Greetings!

A quick note wishing everyone Happy Holidays!

It has been an exciting 2 months for me with the site. I hope everyone is enjoying the webcams and forecast maps, the site traffic is indicating the webcams are popular. Today our Facebook page crossed the 150 “likes” barrier, this has been a quick increase the last month, I thank everyone for spreading the word of our site.

I have been brainstorming, my wife is worried, when I do this it usually means I am going to spend some money! :)  My main idea will be kept quiet for some time as I try to work out the logistics and location. That should give you all a hint!

I will likely try a podcast for the New Year, this will summarize our year in weather, storm chasing and site updates. Speaking of storm chases, I have been way slow on updating our Nebraska/Minnesota chase earlier this year. Some know that Aaron(my son) and I ended up in a difficult position. We were in the middle of 5 radar indicated tornadoes in Minnesota. This has kept me slow to update as I have analyzed the radar data over and over again to see if we could have/should have done anything different. We also saw our first tornado damage just minutes after it happened, this can be the tough part of chasing and I will just have to deal with it. I will try to get this summary up within the next week and no later than the New Year.
